How Do You Know When Your Spirit Guides Are Communicating With You?

Your spirit guides are always guiding you. The problem usually isn't a lack of contact; it's that you don't yet recognize what contact feels like. Most people wait for a voice or a vision. What actually shows up first is almost always physical: warmth, pressure, a buzz, a color behind closed eyes. Learning to recognize your own signal, not someone else's, is where real communication with your guides begins.

Why don't I feel anything when I try to connect?

Because you're probably asking too much, too soon. It's a bit like picking up a language textbook and expecting to know how to read a novel on day one. Guides communicate through a language (physical sensation, more than words), and like any language, you build fluency one small exchange at a time. Ask a huge question in your first sitting ("what's my life purpose?") and you'll likely get silence, not because your guides aren't there, but because you haven't learned to hear them yet.

What does a spirit guide actually feel like?

Spirit guides carry a very high frequency, so when one steps into your energy field, your body tends to register it before your mind does. That might mean warmth spreading through your hands, a light buzzing at the base of your skull, a color appearing behind your closed eyes, or a single word arriving out of nowhere. There's no universal signal; yours will be yours. The goal isn't to match what you think a "real" psychic experience should look like. It's to notice, specifically, how your own connection shows up.

How do I start, practically?

Start small, and start daily. The practice I give clients takes ten to fifteen minutes a day, needs no special equipment, and begins not with big questions but with learning to recognize your guides' presence. I've put the complete protocol into a free guide: every phase, the exact words to use, a signal journal, and the only free guided meditation I've released. Consistency matters more than intensity here.

How do I know a signal is real and not just my imagination?

You don't, not the first time. That's exactly why the practice asks you to repeat it. The first day you feel something, say thank you and stop; don't chase it further. Come back the next day, run the same ritual, and see if the same sensation returns. If it shows up two days in a row, it's very unlikely to be coincidence or your own mind. That repetition is what turns "maybe" into "yes, that's them."

What comes after I feel something twice?

A vocabulary. Once a sensation has repeated and you trust it, the next stage is learning what yes feels like, then no, then checking what you receive against how life actually unfolds. The step-by-step of that calibration is in the free guide above.

What if I don't feel anything for weeks?

It happens, and it doesn't mean you're doing it wrong. Some people are naturally more visual, some more physical, some more auditory, and some people are simply more guarded, consciously or not, which means it takes longer for the nervous system to relax into the exercise. If weeks pass with nothing, the fix usually isn't a new technique. It's checking whether you're genuinely staying under 15 minutes, genuinely showing up daily, and genuinely leaving without forcing an answer when the timer ends. The protocol works because it removes pressure. Add pressure back in (checking your phone, extending the session, getting frustrated) and you slow the whole process down.

Do I need to do the full ritual forever?

No. Once you're fluent in your own yes and no, you won't need the ritual every morning; you'll be able to check in anytime you have a simple decision to make. But that fluency only comes from doing the slow version first. There's no shortcut to the language; there's only the version where you actually learn it.

I'm sending you a lot of love.
